Blessed Trinity Angels in Arms, located in Ocala, has an opening for a dynamic and compassionate INFANT teacher for our early childhood learning center. This position is full-time, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• The ideal candidate will be caring, understanding, flexible and fun, with a passion for working with infants to one-year olds.
• The position requires working with children, 12 weeks to 1 year old.
• Promote student growth and development.
• Development and implement engaging lesson plans from the Creative Curriculum.
• The position performs duties that are instructional in nature, delivers direct services to students or parents, serves in a position for which a teacher has ultimate responsibility for the design and implementation of educational programs and services.
• Supervises and monitors the safety of the children.
• Organize activities and routines that allow children to learn about the world, explore interests, have enough physical activity, rest and playtime.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with parents and children.

Management & Organization:

• Supervise students with your full attention at all times and implement school rules/procedures.
• Follow school drills and sub protocol procedures.
• Have flexibility in your schedule and show up on time to the places you are scheduled.
• Work collaboratively with coworkers to ensure that you exude excellence in any responsibilities given.
• Follow detailed instructions well.

Professionalism & Communication:

• Demonstrate professionalism by being in regular attendance and arriving on time to work.
• Complete required trainings on time.
• Demonstrate professionalism at ALL times.
• Utilize professional communication with strong grammar, syntax, usage and/or spelling skills.

• Complete Department of Children and Families 45 Hour Training.
• Teaches and acts consistently in accordance with the mission, philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of the school and the Diocese of Orlando and promotes the ministry of Catholic education.
